Evenstar is showing signs that she is getting close. Her calcium milk test is at the max and her pH has dropped to 6.3. Her bag is very tight and her milk is turning white.
We will be watching her very closely. I hope you can join us as we welcome her foal.

ReplyDeleteFinally, a filly! And such a gorgeous one. I was so happy to see her learn to nurse (girls ARE smarter than boys). I hope you're ok, from the bump up in the stall. Evenstar is not fond of Midnight, is she? She's such a grand mother, so protective! I can't wait to see what you name her...love all the names so far.
